behind the bench
Each piece of jewelry begins and ends in my hands alone.
Starting from a block of wax, a model of each piece is individually carved away, revealing my design in physical form. I press each model into packed fine sand, one by one, to create a mold, then carefully pour in molten metal. Once cooled, the mold is broken away, revealing a raw form that’s one-of-a-kind. No two casts are ever exactly alike — each carries subtle textures and marks from the sand itself, which I find especially beautiful. After casting, I cut, file, shape, and polish each piece by hand, keeping enough of it's natural character to make it unique.

For me, keeping this craft alive is deeply personal. At Studio Jeweler's Ltd, I was fortunate to learn all forms of jewelry making the old-fashioned way in the age of mass production. It is by practicing these traditional skills that I protect them from fading. That’s why I insist on making each piece myself, by hand, from start to finish. No fancy machines, no shortcuts. I get to share my story through each piece, and by wearing it, you become part of that story too — keeping the art of handmade jewelry alive and proving that true craftsmanship still matters.
Thank you for believing in the value of handmade. Your support allows me to keep this craft and my dream alive — I couldn’t do it without you.
